Refund & Returns Policy for Aware

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase from Aware. If you’re not, we’re here to help.


Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. After this period, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase (such as a receipt or order confirmation) is required.

Please do not send items back to the manufacturer.


Non-returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, including:

  • Perishable goods (e.g. food, flowers, newspapers, magazines).
  • Intimate or sanitary goods.
  • Hazardous materials or flammable liquids/gases.
  • Gift cards.
  • Downloadable digital products.
  • Some health and personal care items.

Partial Refunds

In some cases, only partial refunds may be granted, such as:

  • Books with obvious signs of use.
  • CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, software, video games, cassette tapes, or vinyl records that have been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email whether your refund has been approved or rejected.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit automatically applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of business days.


Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company, as it may take time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Contact your bank, as there is often processing time before refunds appear.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale or discounted items are not eligible for a refund.


Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, contact us on our contact page and send your item to the address supplied after checkout.


Gifts

  • If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift voucher will be sent to you.
  • If the gift wasn’t marked as such, or was shipped to the gift giver, we will send the refund to the original purchaser.

Shipping Returns

  • You are responsible for paying your own return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted.
  • Depending on your location, the time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
  • For expensive items, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
